Kelly Kolker
Director of Sales and Marketing

Kelly graduated from the University of Richmond where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations with a double major in World Politics and Diplomacy and Spanish. She minored in French. In addition, Kelly was a member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team, and served as Team Captain her senior year. She was selected as the Most Valuable Player and was also awarded First Team All-Atlantic 10 and First Team All-Atlantic 10 Academic honors.

While at Richmond, she studied in Europe and South America. As a result of her studies abroad, Kolker developed a strong a desire to study sport and language in a global context. She also expanded her language skills and is fluent in both Spanish and French, has a strong working knowledge of Italian and Farsi, and is currently studying Arabic. Her desire to further her education led her to the VCU SportsCenter graduate program, where she received her Master’s degree in Sport Leadership, with a concentration in Sports Management. 

Upon completing her Masters program, she was hired by the VCU SportsCenter to help develop international initiatives in which students study and experience first hand how sport affects society in other countries around the world.

At Playground, she will continue to research and develop opportunities to impact children domestically, and in other regions of the world, by creating character and value driven educational materials and programs, including children’s stories that are of universal application.
